As Nottingham is a city in central England’s Midlands region. It is a city with beautiful weather and places to visit. So, our department decided to send us to the University of Nottingham for research work as it is a public research university. It is ranked in the world’s top 70 universities by the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022. We were a group of 3 students who had to go there. We landed at Stansted Airport in the afternoon and then we had to reach the university before evening. The distance from Stansted Airport to Nottingham is 94 miles. We asked the security guard about any safe taxi services to reach the university. He told us about a cab company.

The ventilation system was so good in the vehicle. The driver asked us if we are travelling for the first time. We told him about our research and he informed us that their company offers discounts to students. We were so surprised about their love of education.

We reached the university within 2 hours and the driver dropped off our luggage safely and did wish us good luck. We paid the fare that was 50% off. We were so glad that we reached the destination safely and the ride was really amazing we travelled so safely that we did not feel that it was our first travel to Nottingham. The cool breeze of Nottingham was blowing and it was so pleasant weather there. The sky was cloudy with light winds. The management team was there to say welcome and all the project colleagues from the university were also there. One of the students helped us to reach the director’s office. He was so humble man with an amazing personality. He asked about our journey. We told him that it was all so safe and comfortable and the cab company provided us with marvellous services. We really liked the weather there. We were so excited about our research project.
